PochiSta is a completely free, browser-based emote maker for VTubers, streamers and Discord/Slack community managers. Build text emotes that stay readable in chat using heavy display fonts and multi-layer outlines, remove backgrounds in one click (solid backgrounds are cut out instantly, complex photos go through the in-browser AI), and export transparent PNGs and animations (GIF, plus full-colour APNG for Discord stickers) optimised for each platform's spec in one click.
Your images never leave the browser, so unreleased character art and fan art stay private.

Yes. It is completely free and no account is required. You can use the emotes you create commercially — every bundled font ships under a permissive licence such as the SIL Open Font License.
No. Everything — background removal, outlining, resizing and ZIP packaging — runs inside your browser, and nothing is uploaded or stored on a server. Even the AI model is served by this site itself, so nothing reaches an external server.
Yes. The Draw tab lets you draw straight onto the canvas with a finger, mouse or stylus. A stylus uses real pressure and a mouse or finger uses stroke speed, so the line thickness varies — which makes scrawls like "!!" or arrows read far better as emotes than typed text. You can undo one stroke at a time, and the eraser removes whole strokes you drag over. What you draw is saved on your device, so it is still there after you close the page.
Sixteen presets: shake, bounce, spin, rainbow, pulse, wave and zoom punch, plus scroll across and scroll up (which loop seamlessly like a ticker board or end credits), and particle effects such as sweat drops, sparkles, glow sticks, a flame aura and emotion marks. Animation is set per layer. Mosaic and blur stay applied rather than animating, so they export as still transparent PNGs.
Twitch emotes require a set of three sizes: 112×112px, 56×56px and 28×28px. PochiSta exports all three as transparent PNGs in one click. Animated emotes are supported as GIFs up to 1MB.
Discord custom emoji (128×128px recommended) must be 256KB or smaller. PochiSta automatically reduces colours and compresses the output so it stays under the limit. Stickers (320×320px) are kept under 512KB.
Slack custom emoji are 128×128px with a 128KB file size limit — stricter than the other platforms. PochiSta compresses automatically to stay within it, and animated GIFs follow the same rule.
No. YouTube membership emoji are static images only (480×480px transparent PNG recommended). Even with an animation selected, PochiSta exports a static PNG for YouTube.
